The Autumn 2021 issue of Pom Pom Quarterly has arrived here at the shop!
Roots and branches are the inspiration for this issue, and it shows in the texture, cable, and colorwork patterns as well as the prose.
As editors Meghan Fernandes and Lydia Gluck write, this issue buzzes with “cables that echo gnarled roots, twisted stitches that call to mind the delicate tips of bare branches, and colorwork that interprets the living world on a tree’s trunk.” There are accessory patterns in the mix, but fall magazines are really all about the sweaters.
Along with intriguing patterns and essays, Pom Pom also features a recipe in each issue – this time it’s a Cantonese pudding made, fittingly, from ginger root.
Pom Pom Quarterly is $18.50 – order online and we can ship it to you, or you can come by to pick it up here at the shop, no appointment needed! Along with this issue, we also have the Summer 2019, Autumn 2019, Spring 2020, Summer 2020, Autumn 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021 issues in stock – preview them on our blog and get in touch if you’d like to add them to your Pom Pom collection!
