Cables and garter stitch: Tin Can Knits’ “Bonfire” blanket

Instructor: Marsha Krzyzewski

Saturdays: August 15 and 22, September 26, 2020; 10:00 am - 12:00 noon.

Practice your cable knitting on a cozy garter stitch blanket! Marsha will teach Tin Can Knits' "Bonfire" blanket, knit either in a worsted weight or a super bulky weight yarn. This class is great for a very adventurous beginner or an intermediate knitter who wants to hone their chart reading and cable knitting skills. The pattern is both charted and written.

Experience: Students should be very familiar with knitting and purling, and able to distinguish those stitches from one another. Cable Basics class or some experience with cables would be helpful.
Please bring a swatch to the first class:

Cast on 39 stitches and knit every row for 3" and leave on your needles. Marsha will help you measure gauge and adjust the size accordingly.
