Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and though we’ve mentioned it in our email newsletter, I wanted to post a reminder that we’ll soon be closing for a Thanksgiving break.
In years past, we’ve been open for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, major shopping holidays that have always been good for business. For the last two years, we’ve closed for the holiday weekend, prioritizing time with family, and it’s been so good for our souls that we’re making it a tradition. The shop will be closed from Wednesday – Monday, November 28 – December 2, re-opening at our regular business hours on Tuesday, December 3.
We regret any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciate your understanding. Thanksgiving is an opportunity for those of us who work and teach at the shop to be with our friends and family, and we wish you the same. We hope Thanksgiving finds you nestled in your community or your own good company, acknowledging all the good we have and maybe even knitting a few rows.
In the meantime, come by the shop this weekend to start your holiday gift-shopping or pick up some materials for the project at hand – thanks as ever for your support!
